Do the items replace my current uniform? Am I required to wear these every day to work?

No. These items do not replace what you are currently required to wear for your position. Continue to follow local uniform and dress code guidelines as they have not changed. These clothes are made available for you to wear whenever you choose – whether at the office, at home or even just going to the grocery store. However, if you are representing Compass Minerals at a work-related event, such as a tradeshow, please wear Compass Minerals-branded clothing.

What do I do with my logoed shirts, jackets, hats, etc.? Not all of them say Compass Minerals.

The clothing items that you’ve collected over the years are yours to keep. They are an important part of your personal history with the company. However, when you are representing Compass Minerals at a work-related event, please wear Compass Minerals-branded clothing. And remember – you are a representative of Compass Minerals even when you’re not at work or a work-related event. We encourage you to wear your branded Compass Minerals apparel whenever appropriate!

Why is it just Compass Minerals-branded apparel?

Our company’s history dates back more than 170 years and we are proud of our past. However, regardless of our function or location, or our individual history as employees, we all work for Compass Minerals. By operating as a unified, global company, and by being Compass to the Core, we will strengthen our ability to deliver the best possible results for our customers, communities and shareholders.

What flexibility is there on the order deadline? Will employees get some time past the due date to place their orders?

No orders will be accepted after Friday, July 11, 2014. By holding firm to the scheduled deadline, our vendor is able to fulfill the orders in a timely manner and ship them in bulk to our multiple locations. This effort will help us save money and allow each site to efficiently manage distribution of the items.

If my order is over $75, can I use the company credit card to pay the remaining balance?

No. Please use a personal debit/credit card to pay for the rest.

Can I order items with my own money?

Yes. You are welcome to order additional items. However, please remember that you are personally responsible for paying for any amount that exceeds the $75 per person limit.

What if I am interested in purchasing these items for a team project or event?

For any orders not related to our Project One Compass project, please contact our CMP Store supplier, Kevin Quinn, at kquinn@boundlessnetwork.com.

I work in the U.K. Do I need to worry about converting my $75 clothing to pounds when I’m placing my order?

Don’t worry about money conversion. Think of the $75 as 75 credits. Just make sure your order adds up to 75 or less “credits” and remember that you will need to use your personal credit card for any additional amount.

I’m not familiar with U.S. sizes. How can I figure out what size to order?

Size conversion information is included on the site to help you order the appropriate size, whether you are in the United Kingdom, Canada, or the United States.

Do I have to pay shipping?

No. The company is paying for the clothing, plus all taxes and shipping fees.

I missed the deadline – can I still place an order?

No orders will be accepted after Friday, July 11, 2014.

When will I receive my order?

Once all the individual orders are submitted on the Friday, July 11, 2014 deadline, it will take our supplier about three weeks to produce and package all of the orders and ship to each location. We anticipate a delivery date no later than Aug. 8. A representative at your site will communicate when and where you can pick up your order.

What is the return policy?

Please verify the size, quantity and color you want before placing your order. If an item in your order is the wrong size, please contact Jeff Napier or call 800-506-8352 to exchange your item.
